Attendance & Bunk Planner
See how many classes you can skip — or must attend — to stay above the required attendance percentage.
The 75% Rule, Solved Exactly
Most Indian colleges require 75% attendance to sit the end-semester exam. The planner answers the two questions that actually matter: how many classes can I miss in a row and stay safe, and if I've slipped, how many must I attend consecutively to recover. The math: you can bunk while attended ÷ total ≥ 0.75; recovery needs ⌈(0.75 × total − attended) ÷ 0.25⌉ straight classes.
Worked Example
Attended 40 of 50 (80%): you can miss 3 more classes (40/53 = 75.4%). Attended 34 of 50 (68%): you must attend the next 16 classes without a miss to touch 75% (50/66). Recovery is always steeper than the fall — every skipped class needs three attended ones to offset it at the 75% line.
