College GPA Calculator

Calculate your semester GPA from course credits and grade points.

GPA = Σ(grade points × credits) ÷ Σ credits. Use your university's grade-point values (e.g. O=10, A+=9, A=8… on a 10-scale, or A=4, B=3… on a 4-scale).

How Course Credits and Grades Make a GPA

Each course contributes its grade points × credits; your GPA is the total divided by total credits: GPA = Σ(grade points × credits) ÷ Σ credits. A 4-credit core course therefore moves your GPA twice as much as a 2-credit elective — which is why protecting grades in high-credit courses matters most.

Common Grade-Point Scales

Grade10-point (India)4-point (US)
O / A104.0
A+ / A−93.7
A / B+83.3
B+ / B73.0
B / C62.0

This gives you one semester's SGPA — feed those into the SGPA to CGPA Calculator across semesters, then express the result as a percentage with the SGPA to Percentage tool.
