Department of Financial Services Wins First Prize in 'Rajbhasha Kirti' for 2025-26

The Department of Financial Services (DFS) has secured the first position in the 'Rajbhasha Kirti' Award for the year 2025-26. This honor was bestowed in recognition of the department's excellent implementation of the official language, Hindi, and its innovative contributions in this regard.

Award Category:

The Department of Financial Services received this first prize in the category of ministries/departments with a staff strength of fewer than 300. The department's efforts to promote the maximum use of Hindi in official work and its initiatives to introduce innovation in the usage of the language were key factors in this achievement.

Occasion of the Award:

The award was presented on the occasion of the 6th All India Official Language Conference and Hindi Diwas. The conference was organized by the Department of Official Language under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Conference Details:

The two-day 6th All India Official Language Conference was held on September 14–15, 2026, at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Representatives from ministries, departments, and institutions across the country participated in the conference.

Receiving the Award:

Additional Secretary Hari Har Mishra received the award on behalf of the department. The award was presented during a ceremony presided over by the Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation, Amit Shah.
