India-Australia Partnership (PACTS)
India and Australia have given a new direction to their cooperation in cybersecurity and critical technologies through the 'Partnership for Australia-India Cyber and Critical Technology' (PACTS). This initiative builds upon the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the 2020 cyber cooperation framework. Under this partnership, both nations will collaborate on AI, semiconductors, space technology, cybersecurity, Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), defense research, and secure supply chains. The partnership aims to promote a secure, inclusive, and rules-based digital order in the Indo-Pacific region, encourage technological innovation, and strengthen economic and strategic security.

Both countries will place special emphasis on developing a secure, trusted, and rules-based digital ecosystem in the Indo-Pacific region, enhancing cooperation through the Quad, and ensuring the security of critical infrastructure.

This partnership will strengthen the economic security and strategic autonomy of both nations by fostering technological innovation, research, investment, start-up collaboration, reliable supply chains, and cyber resilience.
