The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) selected three 'Sanchar Mitras' for the third cohort of ITU Generation Connect Youth Envoys (2026–2030), an initiative aimed at connecting youth with ICT, digital transformation, and digital inclusion. The 'Sanchar Mitra' scheme raises awareness regarding telecom fraud, mobile security, and cybersecurity, and is implemented across more than 200 technical institutions.
