How many school teachers will be honored with the National Teachers' Award 2026?

President Droupadi Murmu will confer the National Teachers' Award 2026 upon 48 school teachers at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on September 5, 2026; they were selected through a three-stage online process. Among the 48 winners, 26 are men and 22 are women; Teachers' Day is celebrated on September 5 to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
